Why join the Chemistry Club?
The purpose of the Chemistry Club is to provide chemistry students and other interested persons with:
-a positive and social atmosphere for discussion and increased awareness of chemistry;
-an open forum for educational growth and development;
-a place to discuss the applications of the chemical industry for the protection and preservation of our environment;
-an alternative access to academic and tutoring assistance.
Every year, the Chemistry Club participates in the following activities:
-Making tie-dye T-shirts for Spring Fling
-Selling ACS study guides for general and organic chemistry students
-Visiting elementary schools to perform experiments to get kids excited about science!
-Movies, dinner, ice cream – you name it and we do it!
