Research Interests
Synthesis and characterization of manganese complexes useful for regulating levels of reactive oxygen species (hydrogen peroxide, superoxide and hydroxyl radical) in biological systems. Main spectroscopic characterization techniques include electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
Construction of instrumentation for electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy
Synthesis of chalcogenide materials (e.g. Ge40Se60) for use in nonvolatile memory devices
