This answer is not correct although it is balanced. This is an example of an acid-base reaction and there are 2 hydroxide ions in calcium hydroxide. It will take 2 HCl to complete this reaction...one for each hydroxide ion. The hydroxide ion will not break down to hydrogen gas and oxygen gas in an acid-base reaction.
