This answer is not correct. You calculated that 15.8 g of carbon monoxide was needed to react with 9 g of oxygen and then subtracted the 15 g of carbon monoxide to arrive at this answer. You actually interpreted the results of your calculations incorrectly. Instead of too much carbon monoxide...you had 0.8 g less than was needed for a complete reaction.
