This answer is not correct. The carbanion formed at this carbon atom cannot have resonance with the carbonyl carbon atom and the electron withdrawing inductive effect of the carbonyl is beta and thus less favorable (Coulomb's Law). Please see question 1 from the structure reactivity problem set.
