not correct. Hydrogen bonding is the principle intermolecular attraction when a
compound has an electropositive hydrogen atom and available non-bonding electron
pairs. Although fluorine is more electronegative than oxygen there are no HF
bonds in this compound so there can be no hydrogen bonds. Other selections do
have the structural features required for hydrogen bonding. This compound has
some of the strongest dipole-dipole interactions of the available compounds
although compound (c) also has strong dipole-dipole interactions and it would be
a difficult choice based solely on this factor.
