This answer is not correct. The aromatic ring will not undergo nucleophilic attack by the chloride ion, Cl^-. Aromatic rings are attacked by electrophiles such as Cl⁺ but the HCl is not a source of Cl⁺. There is another reaction that is possible that is quite exothermic.
