This answer is not correct. Anions are not formed under acidic conditions...you want to form cations. The only anions present are the spectator ions...in this case probably a hydrogen sulfate anion. I think that you remembered this from the basic hydrolysis mechanism and were not thinking about the reaction conditions. Try working out a mechanism on scratch paper and see what you come up with.
